Boots - River Island |
Hello my lovelies! Lately I've been receiving a lot of messages on Tumblr asking me questions about boots for the Winter, and so I thought 'Hey, why not do a blog post?!' - so here I, inevitably, am. First and fore-most I would say my must-have traits in a pair of boots for the Winter has to be the Big C;
comfort. I think in the cold, blustery weather, if your footwear isn't comfortable, then you aren't likely to be inclined to wear them, and the whole ordeal of buying the boots is totally pointless. Secondly, I'd say that my boots
have to be room-y, simply so I'm able to fit a pair of chunky socks on underneath. Boots for me aren't just a serious fashion statement (which they
clearly are!), they are also a huge foot shield in terms of bad weather - which comes in handy over here in rainy Britain! My winter boots (as pictured above) have to be my favourite pair of boots I have purchased for the snowy Winter months yet. I adore their buckles and cut out detailing on the side, I think the hint of gold that is visible gives the boots a lot of character and edge, and I L-O-V-E them! I'm yet to wear these River Island wonders yet, however, follow my Tumblr
here and I'll be sure to update you on their comfort spec!
So, what do you guys think about my new Winter Booties? What are your must have boot-traits? Comment below and let me know, I'd love to read all about them!
